Welcome! As the principal of Resumes and Career Strategies, I provide career transition and job search training, coaching, and career programming support  to help organizations empower students, professionals, and executives to develop satisfying careers.

 My credentials:  I'm  a certified job and career transition coach (JCTC)  and a certified professional resume writer (CPRW) with in-depth training in modern job search coaching techniques and career development facilitation. 

In an ever-changing, unpredictable job market and economy, knowing how to proactively navigate and manage your career-- which can include making voluntary transitions or coping with involuntary transitions--is a skill set that every professional needs to create a fulfilling career throughout their working lives.

As a certified career development/career transition coach and a certified professional resume writer,  I provide career transition training and one-on-one career coaching/resume review services to help organizations educate their program participants on how to clarify their career goals and interests, determine and articulate their value and strengths, and in implement proven career strategies to advance their careers.

As a presenter and author on career topics and a former career services manager, I also partner with organizations to create, manage and coordinate career centers, job boards, career events, workshops, and digital and print career resources.

A few of the organizations, I’ve had the privilege of presenting, coaching, resume reviewing, and creating resources for: American Psychological Association; Greater Washington Urban League; American Society for Association Executives; American Marketing Association-DC chapter; Howard University; and University of Delaware, DC Alumni chapter.

I've been honored to help several executives make satisfying transitions and was recently honored to have a career change resume I wrote for an executive looking to move into more mission-driven work featured in the latest edition of Resumes for Dummies.

My professional memberships include the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches, the National Career Development  Association, Career Directors International and am a Career Industry Authority with Career Thought Leaders Consortium.  I am also a member of the Association for Talent Development.
